Common errors in GMAT Sentence Correction

As it appears in many preparatory guides GMAT does not look for all errors in English. IT tests the following errors

* Verb Usage( Subject - verb agreement and correct tense)
* Reference ( use of pronoun and modifies)
*Parallel Structure( Consistensy among items in comparison)
*Idioms(proper use of idiomatic expression)
* Style ( no excessive verbiage, active verbs)
*tense agreement
use participle only when the action is continuing

Look for the above errors in that order whenever a sentence correction question pops up in GMAT
